Final Reflection

 

This class has definitely been an interesting experience for me and has done an excellent job fulfilling my Art and Humanities learning requirements. The material and topics in this class are so different than what I am used to in my major, it really stretched me and helped me become a more "well-rounded" student. I had never even considered animal studies as a field before this class, but now I feel like my eyes have been opened to a whole new way of seeing the world, and particularly the animals in it. This class required a lot of reflection and introspection and I feel like I learned a lot about myself and the way I think as well. I loved all the guest speakers and all the different perspectives on art and dogs that we were able to learn. This class has 100% changed my views on dogs and humans relationships with them, I can't look at dogs the same way again!
